Noter:
Poul Mortensen Bohn went abroad as a mercenary soldier. He ended up
in charge of the Engineering-Corps for Empress Maria Theresa (1717-
1780) of Austria; one of the most capable rulers of the Habsburg
dynasty, and wife of Frances I (died 1765). Poul Bohn is said to have


married an Austrian noble-woman and to have been buried in Stephan's
Church in Vienna.
