Poul Jensen Kyrning held title to Møllerup (in Luggude district,
Skåne province), and his wife Kirsten Gjordsdatter (Galen) held title
to Oddersberg. In 1496 he was described as a
wellborn journeyman (velbyrdig svend) and the superintendant
(forstander) of St. Jørgen's Alter in Lund. Later, in 1498, Poul was
an assistant of the Archbishop of Lund. In a
record dated 1511, he is named "Poul Kørning" of Tollerup (in Froste
district, Skåne). He compained, in 1519, to the King about the
behaviour of his cousin Aage Knudsen (Gere),
who had thrown Poul's mother-in-law off a horse. (Source: Dansk Adels
